Re: Where can I download Nvidia 8400M GS drivers?
>< Sorry just noticed that there was a driver request section. Admins please move this thanks.
:( it says they dont have a download link btw how do I properly install a video card driver? Some of my friends say to just install it but some say I have to remove the old one before I install the new one? So...which one is the correct way to change drivers? Re: Where can I download Nvidia 8400M GS drivers?
There is a program called driver sweeper that I use that works well.
I think you can get it at majorgeeks.com. Sometimes Nvidia drivers wont install correctly if you dont delete the old ones. Uninstall the old one in control panel. Reboot and then run driver sweeper. Be careful to only delete the video drivers. Reboot and you should see the most basic video windows offers. It will look alot like safe mode. Install the new drivers and you should be good to go. Below is a link to the Nvidia drivers http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx |

Re: Where can I download Nvidia 8400M GS drivers?
I think the Nvidia website only has the latest drivers(?) for download?
Where can I find Nvidia driver 165.01 for Vista I found a website called laptopvideo2go but unfortunately they dont have the driver specified for Vista. Are there are drivers that would be great to overclock for the 8400M GS? Last edited by KarMen13; 05-29-2009 at 09:31 AM. |
