Driver display stop responding [xp]

PLZ help me i just installed left 4 dead in my laptop and when i play it.when at loading mode after the intro movie sunddenly appear
WINDOWS-DRIVER DISPLAY STOP RESPONDING

The ialmrnt display driver has stopped working normally save your work and reboot the ssystem to restore full display functionality.The next time you reboot the machine a dialog will be displayed giving you a chance to upload data about this failure to microsoft

n it crash my dekstop untill my dekstop just have 4 color and small pixel
WHY?is my video card not enough to play it?

MY RAM is 991MB is it enough??
and THIS is my video card:

some people said i must upgrade my video card by download the new driver.is it right?
but what video card type i must download?
PLZ tell me and help me
NOTE:I PLAY IT WITH MY LAPTOP

It seems the game needs a 6600 gt or aan ati 9600 or higher , don't think you stock intel can handle that game.

Try it on a machine that meets it minimum specs or a newer machine.

sry i dont understand about PC and laptop.
so u mean,buy the new one?
should i download newer driver for my laptop?
