Video Memory

I don't understand the difference between total available graphics memory and system video memory. I need a computer with 128 MB or greater video memory. When I look at my bios it says 32MB system video memory and 288MB total available graphics memory. What is the difference and does my current comp meet the requirements?

288mb sound like the graphics supported range and 32 sounds like what it's currently using. There should be a setting in the bios or display settings to increase the memory.
