Quick question about DVI/VGA adapters

If I were to use a DVI/VGA adapter on a VGA port on my computer, would my computer consider it as digital because of the adapter or analog because of the port?

Once converted to vga it's then an analog signal.

Re: Quick question about DVI/VGA adapters

No, it will not convert the analog signal to digital.
You receive what the card puts out.

Re: Quick question about DVI/VGA adapters

DVI can be digital or analog. By placing a DVI->D-Sub adapter on the line you are forcing a purely analog signal to be sent to the monitor.
