[SOLVED] My Geforce 6200LE 256mb AGP

My Geforce doesnt show nothing when i turn on my computer it jest stays black why?

Is this a new card or one that has worked before? Also post the make and model pc.

it worked before on my friends computer its but one day it stoped working the screen when turning on the computer didnt show nothing it looked off then i installed it in mine and it does the same thing.

System Info:
Windows Xp Sp3
MSI PM8M-V (MS-7104 v1)
Intel(R) Celeron(R) CPU 2.53GHz
DIMM2: 512 MB PC3200 DDR SDRAM
North Bridge: VIA P4M800
South Bridge: VIA VT8237

Check the bios for any type of agp setting that allows for an agp card to be installed. Since the card doesn't have a fan it could have easily overheated.

um...would it be the blown capacitors it got, but im going to test the agp settings but i tried that to but ima chack it again

Oh wow I didn't notice the blown capacitors , yea that card is done. To the garbage with it.

hey i been asking and some people and they tell me to change the capacitors which mean theres no need to throw it away so ima try to change them if it doesnt work al throw it away.

Good luck to ya.

I would still just toss it out , if it blew it's original capacitors then it might blow the new ones. Or even worse you might install them incorrectly and cause more problems. It's like fixing a popped balloon , it would simply be better and easier to get a new one.

check it has a min output of 18a on the 12v line

i see something like on the PSU but i dont see that type of cable i google 18a on the 13v line and i dont see the cable

It's actually the Low energy model of card which can work all the way down to a 150w power supply.

ohhh... hey i tolled some guy to change the capasitors so he said ¨come and pick it up tomarow¨¨10 dollares to fix it lol
