gforce 7900 GT/GTO issues?

Hi. I have a gforce 7900 gt/gto and have had it for about 2 years I believe. I noticed not too long ago while I play games that I get these weird lines and shapes everywhere and sometimes even the whole screen gets covered by them. I only play team fortress 2 and fallout 3 at the moment. When I move to different locations or change weapons, I notice sometimes it helps but, it is pretty annoying. I also tried changing the video options to different settings with no help. Could this be the result of a video card going bad? I've also made sure it wasn't a driver issue as well. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

well if the card isnt overheating and you've got sufficent cooling then the card is on its way out and your looking at a new card in the very near future.
