Video Card Static Problems
Well I have a Dell B110 that only has PCI slots. Ive just upgraded the ram to 1.5gigs, and just got a new video card. Geforce 8400gs 512mb pci card. I have it installed and it was working great. Then I noticed some problems.1st HD videos like from gametrailers or youtube or any place dont run as smooth as they did with my old intergraded card. Then I open photoshop cs3 and there is this weird static but nothing to bother me. but then i open adobe premiere and dam is it bad. static everywhere, unworkable. So what could be the problem. I had installed windows 7 beta and RC recently and this static doesnt show up when running PS or premier on 7. So whats the problem with XP. its SP2 just to add. Also my power supply is 400watts so i know it aint that and I have the latest drivers from nivida. HELP ME PLEASE !
and just incase u want to know what the static looks like heres a pic... its at the bottom of the window and just over all in other places. it also disappears as u move the windows its self http://i200.photobucket.com/albums/a...g?t=1241678941 |

Re: Video Card Static Problems
Nope it didnt change anything. Static and tearing is still there. I did notice if i go to the hardware accelerator settings and lower 2 notches down to where it says disable all cursor and advance draging accelerations. The static disappears but then my 3d programs like blender 3d work terribly. So i dont know what to do.
