dvi-d res
hi,
i have a 8800 gts 512 card running like a dream but i have just boght a 22in amw monitor (x2210wps), if i connect with a vga cable with a dvi-i adaptor i have no probs, change res etc. if i use a dvi-d cable (only 1 the monitor can use) and clone with my plasma then i am limited to res of 1024*768. if i dont clone i still only get 1024*768 res. is this an issue using dvi-d or am i doing something wrong. i have vista updates, gpu updates. also when i restart my pc the nvidia control panel doesnt use the digital settings it takes off the digital monitor and just uses my plasma Last edited by ozzo74; 05-07-2009 at 07:31 AM. |

Re: dvi-d res
1024x768 is probably the only resolution the two screens share. When you run monitors in clone mode they both need to support the same resolution , and 1024x768 is probably the only res between them that they support.
