Hi!
I know that I'm not the first one to post here about this problem, the thing is that I wasn't able to find a solution that worked for me in my forum searches. I recently upgraded from my geforce2 pro to a BFG 6800 OC, and it truly is an awesome graphics card but I can only get a b&w picture when I connect my tv. I'm using the same cable as with the geforce2, I only replaced the s-video to rca adapter because the one that came with the geforce2 isn't a standard adapter. So far I've tried all of the following: switching resolutions, color depth, dualview settings (clone, single display...) I tried two driver sets (66.93 and 71.20) Tried every single output format setting (different pals, ntsc) I connected another tv via a shorter cable used an rca-to-scart adapter for the connection on the tv used the same s-video adapter to connect a laptop to the tv and I GOT color All of this got me no color on the tv from my 6800. The only thing that did result in a short flash of color is when I switched the video connection format from auto-select or s-video to composite. Every time I do that I catch a short (fraction of a second) glimpse of my desktop in color and then the TV goes blank altogether. As far as I can tell it seems that the problem is driver related, but I just can't find a way to fix it. What should I do next? Test more driver sets? It looks like that's just about the only thing left to do... I'd really appreciate any comments/suggestions/help on this subject because right now I'm completely stumped. thx Lemming |
