Whats the best...

Whats the BEST graphics card/video card you can get ?
i have..i mean HAD a Radeon 9800 Pro till the fan went busted and i gotta use a 9600

so yeah im looking to upgrade my pc like i do every year to the best i can get, this year i got over $600 and want to get some good stuff like Motherboard, video card, etc

So can you's tell me the best? and dont just do "ooh geforce" cos i just want to know the best you can get please.

As far as video cards go you are looking at the Radeon x800xt or the Geforce 6800ultra.

They perform almost identitically except in certain applications where one card was designed to perform better. Benchmarks of both cards are available HERE

There a x850XT PE out now that slighlty better then the x800xt. but yeah if you going top of a line there the x850xt pe and the geforce 6800 ultra extreme (It very hard to find the extreme version of the geforce 6800 ultra)
