Crazy Geforce 440mx

I've had my GeForce mx440 for about a year now and I've just decided to play movies throught the TV with it, but when I pluged it all up the Telly only displayed in Black and White, the picture on the the monitor is coulour but not the telly, It would boot up in colour on the TV but when it got to the windows start up the screen would flicker and then B&W.

At first I thought it was the TV but it brand new, so then i went through all the screen settings on xp, still nothing, then I went htrough all the different settings for the card itself and stil no luck, finally I ran windows in safe mode and low and behold colour even thought it wasn't very clear.... but no sound (I guess its because safe mode dosen't load any sound drivers)

So now I'm at a lose. Any help would be great...

try reinstalling the drivers
