geforce 8800 on 450 watt psu
hi
i have intel dualcore 3.0 ghz dvdwriter 2gb ram asus p5gc mx 160gb hdd 450 watt PSU i am going to buy geforce 8800 graphics card(single card) will my psu enough for this card? i did some googling and i found out that nvidia suggested 450watt is enough for single mode card will it sufficient for this card? my system is not high end. and not much devices expansion cards connected |

You should be fine, is there a reason why an 8800 instead of say a GTS 250 or a 9800? You'll get more power for sure fo around the same cost.

this is what you want to be using Corsair 650w $95 after rebate $75 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817139005 or a Corsair 750w is even better Corsair 750w $120 after rebate $110 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817139006 have much are you willing to spend after getting a new PSU? |
