Video Card problem, screen not loading
Hello recently got a new video card got a GTS 250 512mb, upgraded from a 7200gs. So I hooked everything up and put the disk in but said i was downloading old drivers, so i decided to go to the site and just download the drivers there. I ended up restarting my computer but the screen didnt continue to load before the XP loading screen. I read another post saying to F8 and uninstall the drivers for the video card, so i did. But now its having the same problem, im guessing I f'k up by not uninstalling the old drivers before putting in my new card?.
Anyways would rather get some help before i make it worse. |

Re: Video Card problem, screen not loading
I'm having the same problem but with different hardware. you can unload the problem sortof by going into windows safe mode and then Device Manager and unloading the drivers you installed.
My problem is I have two Video cards that I'm trying to use CrossFire on and when I have both cards in I get a black screen at the windows log in screen. Anyone help me and this guy out? |
