It should be enough. I would generally recommend 650w if you had a single card , so the extra 200watts should be enough for two. It's also a decent brand power supply with enough amps and good efficiency so you should be set.
Though I wouldn't bother with Sli as the price to performance ratio is awful. It roughly yields a 30 to 40% increase in speed and not the widely assumed 100% increase.

Re: Is 850TX PSU enough to run 2x9800gtx+ in SLi?
I would normally completely agree with you emosun but it seems my current 9800gtx+ must be bad since I upgraded the psu today and my system was still artifacting and restarting the machine( I posted yesterday asking if it was the card or insufficient power) Any ways Asus is going to RMA my card but being such an uber nerd I cant wait the 2 weeks to get that card back so I sprung for a new EVGA 9800GTX+ to get me by, figured worst case when the asus gets repaired I'll drop it in for SLi. Either way I cant be without a computer for that long or I'd go insane so another 9800gtx+ is cheaper than a 280 or 290 and this waty i wont have two different cards lying around.

Agreed with Emo. Unless you are playing at massive resolutions, or want Crysis at ultra, a complete and utter waste of money.
