black screen appear in my monitor when start to turn on my computer

Good morning! Can anybody help me with my problem regarding to my computer because this morning when i start to open my pc the monitor stay with the color black the windows xp did not appear just pure black then the light of my monitor is orange.

Try to use the monitor on another computer, to verify the problem is not with the monitor itself.

Post Make & Model # of the computer.

Is this Windows XP ?

Hello,

Can you access the BIOS?

Was anything recently added to the PC?

Make sure video cable properly connected to PC.(No bent pins)

Try a different monitor if possible.

Also listing the specs of the PC would be helpful.

power supply
brand
wattage

check the listings in the bios for voltages and temperatures and post them
