New HD Graphics card= NO AUDIO Help please

My friend upgraded his graphics card, and handed me his old one. An ATI HD2600! I wasn't sure the huge thing would even fit in my 3 year old Compaq presario, but with some careful finegaling, I got it in. Only problem, I can't get audio to work. The device manager says that the "ATI Function Driver for High Definition Audio- ATI AA01" is handling my audio, so it seems like something with the card isn't right. Any ideas? I'll try anything to be able to keep this card as it's much better than the Radeon 9200 PCI I had in there before... and that one failed recently as well.

Go to your control panel and into "sounds and audio devices" then the audio tab , and under "playback" you can select what device the computer uses for sound , switch it back to the onboard sound or sound card.
