Nvidia card as PhysX with ATI card?
I recently upgraded from a BFG 9500GT graphics card to a Sapphire Radeon 4870, which was a fantastic step up in quality. However, I've heard of people setting up Nvidia cards as PhysX processors to increase performance. I wouldn't make much money selling the BFG card, none of my friends have a use for it, and I hate to see good hardware go to waste, so I was wondering if it is in any way possible to run an Nvidia card as PhysX processor with an ATI GPU.
Full specs: MBD: EVGA 132-CK-NF79-TR CPU: Intel Core2 Duo e2200 OC 2.6GHz RAM: Mushkin 4GB DDR3 1333 CAS 9 GPU: Sapphire Radeon HD 4870 1GB GDDR5 (PhysX: BFG 9500GT 1GB GDDR2 ?) PSU: Rocketfish 700 Watt ATX Case: APEVIA X-Cruiser mid-tower Cooling: 80mm front x2 / 80mm top x1 / -- 80mm side x1 / 120mm back x1 |
