Would this video card work on my motherboard?

I want to buy the BFG GeForce GTX 280 Video Card.
My motherboard is the foxconn m61pmv.
My computer's processor is the amd athlon 64x2 2.6 ghz
4gb of RAM
All that jazz.
Will the card work?

Re: Would this video card work on my motherboard?

Motherboard yes, but what PSU do you have a GTX280 will want a Quality 850w or so to run properly. and you may be held back a little by the CPU.

Re: Would this video card work on my motherboard?

850w or larger in those Brands and Models where specified.
The 850TX above is a very good supply at a good price.

Re: Would this video card work on my motherboard?

The GTX 280 is quite a large card in physical dimension. Some cases are just too small. If so, installing the card may be blocked by the drive bays of the case. Measure from the back of the case, along your pci-e x16 slot to the drive bays. The card is 10.5 inches long, so you want a little more room than that.
