NVidia GeForce Fx 5500: OpenGL Problem

I was planning on playing counter-strike smoothly with openGL settings, but it seems I can only run on software mode, and Direct3D mode.

I try the openGL mode and it says my gfx card doesn't support it.

It worked fine in my other computer, so I don't know what the problem could be.

I've also tried this with other games that require openGL to play, such as Wolfenstein:Enemy Territory, and I also get a message there.

If anyone could help I'd appreciate it =]

Thanks in advance.

Re: NVidia GeForce Fx 5500: OpenGL Problem

Ok, well your computer is out-dated. To run everything perfectly I suggest a complete new build, the standard CPU speed now is about 2.8 or so Ghhz. And the standard RAM is about 2-4 gigs depends on a few tings. It doesn't help the video card is PCI either, PCI video cards are very out dated and got replaced by PCI-e. If you would like a new computer like built with some amazing parts it will run you about 600-800 depending on a few things. If you want a new computer, just reply saying your budget and what else you want it for other than games.
