Considering a trade... is it worth it?

Somebody I started talking to in town has a 640mb BFG 8800gts OC he wants to trade for my PNY 9800gt. He'll throw in a wireless router too, which is nice because mine is crap. However, I'm pretending like I'm trading card for card. He seems to think the 9800gt is alot better than his card, he may be wrong, but I haven't even met the guy so I dont mind. He actually just got the card.

Is the 8800gts better than my 9800gt? It's not the 116 pipeline version, its the 96. I can't find any benchmarks between that specific 8800gts and my card...

Thanks for your help

I'd keep the 9800gt the G92 chip runs cooler and longer.

Re: Considering a trade... is it worth it?

yeah i understand it runs cooler, but id have to say that piece would be ruled out because i have very ample cooling in my case and i doubt that will make a real difference, other than overclocking it. performance wise, is the trade worth it?

I haven't seen a lot of difference between the 2.
