PCI card better then radeon 9250?
basically the title, i have only PCI slots, and i'm looking for a step up from my radeon 9250, no pci express sadly. any ideas?

Yea theres a few newer pci cards that'll be a bit better. Post the rest of your specs as well. If your current cpu or ram is to slow , or out of date , a new card may not help very much(if your looking for and increase in gameing performance).

I was in the same situation 3 years ago and I happened to have a 9250 too. I upgraded to a X1300 but I couldn't see much of a increase of performance due to the limited bandwith of a PCI card. Best bet: Instead of wasting a $100 on a x1300, get a new mobo that happens to support the same type or ram and the same CPU that you have and a PCIe video card.
