Video problems, strange colors
When playing an Internet movies, all I see is neon colors. I can barely identify the images. Regular DVDs play fine. The service I am using to watch the movies suggested to check into the graphics card and Windows Media Player codecs. My computer is new, WMP is up to date, the graphics card is Intel GMA X4500 HD.
Before I noticed the live video problem, I tried to calibrate the monitor. I received a message that the gamma setting are not supported by the graphics card. If I did it wrong then DVDs would not display right either, correct? I went ahead and restored the graphics card to the manufacturer's settings. Or at least I hope I did. Should I try to reinstall the Media Player first? I do not want to screw anything up. Please, help me fix it. Let me know if more information is needed.
