connecting from pc svhs to tv rca
the problem i have is when trying to connect my laptop to a tv. I have tv-out on my laptop in the form of a 7 pin svhs socket, the tv i want to connect to only has the yellow rca connection. i bought an svhs to rca converter cable but it isnt working, sometime i just get some wavy lines on the tv and sometimes its just a blank screen and i get the 'no signal' message from the tv.
Now the converter cable im using i notice only has 4 pins on the svhs end - is this my problem? although i have connected the same laptop to another pc using a 4 pin svhs to svhs cable. can anyone help me please... thanks jim |
