ATi paired with Nvidia ?
My question to techsupportforum is one i could not find anywhere else.
Can you pair a ATi card like a 4870X2 with a Nvidia card to use the lower end Nvidia card as a dedicated PhysX card ? I don't know if you use PhysX drivers or Nvidia drivers, I can see the Nvidia drivers causing problems and instability with the ATi drivers. Also would this be beneficial towards game play with large amounts of physics, or would it not even show through because of all the stream processors the 4870X2 has. If anyone knows please fill me in. Thanks

Re: ATi paired with Nvidia ?
No the two cards will not work together, most of the time the drivers will clash if trying to use them as separate outputs in the same system.
