Game crashes with new video card

ALL of my games crash with my new video card - radeon x1650 AGP 512mb
specs:
AMD Athlon XP 3000+ 2.2ghz
350ghz PSU
2 gigs of RAM
all my drivers are in date, the graphics cards drivers are on the omega ones currently ive tried over 5 of them
i reinstalled the OS before to see if it was my nvidia drivers conflicting, that did not work
the crash will just freeze the game/computer
i sometimes get crashes with BSOD: 0x00000EA

i have an MSI mobo, it has an 8x slot its all up to date

Ok was checking to see if it used anything nvidia (chipset , onboard) but it does not. In that case since you have reinstalled the os , have you tried the drivers it came with? What games are you trying to play? What powersupply are you useing?

well, it works good in 4x, but i want 8x, it crashes when i put it in 8x, all games crash : HL2 All HL2 Mods, CoD 4 CoH L4D
350w power supply, drivers it came with are absolute crap

Hmm , in that case leave it in 4x mode. 8x really isn't going to be any faster on an x1650.
