Please help!

Ok following on from a previous thread I could do with some advice.

I have two computers both needing work and need some advice on them Ok PC A -

Windows XP Home
3.20 gigahertz Intel Celeron
16 kilobyte primary memory cache
256 kilobyte secondary memory cache

Board: ASUSTeK Computer INC. P5GC-MX/1333 Rev x.xx
Bus Clock: 133 megahertz
BIOS: American Megatrends Inc. 0207 08/01/2007

512 Megabytes Installed Memory
Slot 'DIMM0' has 256 MB
Slot 'DIMM1' has 256 MB

OK so I know I need to update the memory and will be upgrading with 2x 1GB Memory (Duel) but I need to know what kind of Graphics card I can upgrade to currently I have a:-

NVIDIA GeForce 7300 SE/7200 GS [Display adapter]

Computer B -

Windows XP Home
2.40 gigahertz Intel Pentium 4
8 kilobyte primary memory cache
512 kilobyte secondary memory cache

Board: FUJITSU SIEMENS D1521 S26361-D1521
Bus Clock: 533 megahertz
BIOS: FUJITSU SIEMENS // Phoenix Technologies Ltd. 4.06 Rev. 1.05.1521 03/12/2003

1024 Megabytes Installed Memory

Slot 'DIMM-1' has 512 MB
Slot 'DIMM-2' has 512 MB

Current Graphics Card - nVidia GeForce 4 MX44-8X/128MB

Now I am aware that this Graphics Card is rubbish and really need to upgrade it but this 2nd PC won't really be used for much else than Word and Excel so here is my question - Will this one take my old Graphics Card from PC A when I upgrade that?

So to recap -

What Graphics Card will work with PC A (How high can I go?) remembering that I will be upgrading to 2GB Ram.

Will my old Graphics Card work in PC B?

Thanks for the help it's much appreciated!

It has a PCIEx16 slot so depending on how much you want to spend any newer card will work of course the high end cards will be held back by the CPU I probably would not go past a 8600 or 9500GT card What brand and model power supply do you have as video card and power supply upgrades usually go together, The supply will have a label on the side of it inside the case.

No this board uses a AGP slot instead of a PCIex16 slot but for Word and Excel the MX44 card should be fine
Thanks for the help it's much appreciated!

Is this in the Tower it's self?

If so I have no idea how you get into the case and wouldn't want to myself is there another way of finding out?

Re: Please help!

no other way than taking the side off the case
usually 2 or 3 screws at the back then slide the side cover towards the back and lift it off
