Help with EVGA 9800gt

I am planning to purchase a new video card for my computer and feel the 9800gt is perfect for my needs. Problem is, I am not really sure if it would even fit in my tower. My computer is the HP a6600z, with the nvidia nforce 430 chipset. Can someone help clarify whether this card will fit my tower? The card dimensions are: L(9in.) and W(4in.). Any help would be appreciated.

Yea that's the same exact tower as mine minus a few things inside such as 2gb of ram and a dual core processor. But nothing has been changed on it yet all stock. I just ordered the 9800gt hoping i can just move a hard drive or something to get it to fit, if it comes down to it.

If you have the stock power supply it is not going to work a 9800 Gt needs at least a 650w unit to function correctly.

Re: Help with EVGA 9800gt

you are defiantly going to need a bigger power supply, that 250 is not going to cut it.
Might not even boot.
You need a quality 650w psu
