updated Card Seems Working, But Monitor Gets No Signal?
Silentwolf, I too am experiencing a similar scenario. I recently decided to upgrade my video card (Radeon 9800xt Pro) for a budget-friendly Sapphire x1650 Pro AGP card. I am familiar with hardware installations, so I uninstalled the old video drivers, power-down, removed old card, installed new card, power-up and WinXP recognizes new hardware! However, after installing drivers provided to me from Sapphire and a Windows prompted reboot, I get no VGA signal. So, I popped in my old card and my monitor picks it up - no problems. I just attempted this last night and haven't had much luck searching in Google for a fix and I don't have another system to test this on either. However, my new card's fan still spins, so I am confidant that I haven't done any physical damage to the card. Below are my system specs - someone, please help us!
