Re: Video Card (Help)
512MB refers to the amount of ram on the video card, it's not the big determining factor in card performance.
What psu are you using? Need make and model, as well as the output, in amps, from the +3.3, +5, and +12 volt rails. Look on the label of the power supply for this information. What do you want the video card for? You want to get something that suits your needs.

Re: Video Card (Help)
The 512MG or 1GB video won't make a heck of a lot of difference, if any. None that would be noticable.
The thing about adding a video card is that most of the time the power supply in your computer is not up to the task. If you put in too much of a card, the psu will not be able to handle it in the long term, and will fail earlier than it normally would. Or, in extreme cases, the computer will not boot at all. We need you to physically look at the label on the side of the psu and report what it says, as mentioned in the previous post. Without that information, we can't recommend anything.

Re: Video Card (Help)
512mb VRAM is enough for most games and Vista effects. You only need 1gb or more if you're playing at huge resolutions with all the textures and graphics settings on high.
So the answer to your question "Is a 512 MB Video Card enough?" depends on what screen resolution you use.
