How to test SLI to make sure both cards are sharing the load?

Hi, guys.

I have an MSI X58 Platinum motherboard with BIOS, apparently, that now supports SLI. However, my video doesn't seem as fast as it should be. Is there a tool out there that will tell me if both cards are working? Maybe even benchmark them a bit so I can see more detail?

I basically just want to confirm both are working as intended.

Thanks for any advice.

Welcome to tsf.

You can use 3d mark. The score at the end should show a diffrence when sli is enabled and disabled. However if your sling two low end card then the difference won't be very much.

Thanks for both the response and the welcome, Emosun!

I have dual 9800GTX+ cards. The motherboard is an MSI X58 Platinum using software support for the SLI. With one or both cards, the score is about the same. SLI is enabled. I'm not quite sure what to think of it.

What 3dmark version are you using and what scores are you getting? Also, what are your full system specs including PSU make and model?
