Any point to upgrading?

I am wondering if there would be a point in getting a GeForce 9400GT 512MB card to replace my 7800GT 256mb card.

Setup:

AMD X2 4200+ Dual Core Processor
2Gigs PC2-6400 Ram
ECS GeForce6100PM-M2 Socket AM2+ Motherboard

Another thing that I would consider also is that I am not sure if the 7800 is working properly, but if it was would there be a reason to upgrade or would my CPU or something else bottleneck the system?>?

Thanks for any advice!!

Re: Any point to upgrading?

You could upgrade that system , but the 9400 is actually slower the your current 7800.
