Re: Help!!!

They are both reliable , it depends on the system it's going in and the user.

Re: Help!!!

Will i have a P5Q PRO motherboard and running vista home premium. I have a HIS Radeon 4850 iceq4. I know it has better specs than the 9800 gt from evga. But i have heard that ati's graphics card are not reliable. But I thought that was because of the amd- ati merger. And that period is over. So could anyone please offer me some insurance that ati is a good graphics card chipset

Re: Help!!!

^correct me if i m wrong but i think ati is a chipset n HIS is partner of Ati..just like nvidia produces chipsets n then these chips r used by its partners XFX, ASUS n some other vendors to create full graphics card

Re: Help!!!

Ati does make chipsets. Which are reliable too. But he was wondering if ati videocards were reliable and they are. HIS is a sub company just like saphire or ASUS that makes the actual cards and add's thier own coolers and clock speeds and so on.

Re: Help!!!

As long as you have a good warranty, you don't need to worry, both good and solid companies.
