Blank Screen
Greetings,
After moving from my home back to college, I packed up my desktop and headed off. At home my computer / monitor was working fine. (Though my father dropped my monitor onto the cement though it was in a box and padded) while packing up. Now back at college, I plug everything in, and boot up and the Bios screen flashes for about half a second then turns off. But the weird part about this is, that sometimes it will work and sometimes it will not, which leaves me to believe it might be a video card issue. I was able to plug in my monitor to my laptop and the laptop display was displayed through the monitor. It seems as almost hit or miss if the display will stay on or not. I can hear the PC booting up into windows vista when the screen is black as well, ill hear that little chime that they have etc. So, question is: Video card or Monitor? Thanks, Jon |
