Evga 9500gt 1GBddr2 help!

I just built myself a new and i made it pretty much to be able to play more of my life away on world of warcraft. I did a lot of reading up then benchmark testing and noticed my video card is sucking crap, its giving me 30 fps avg on wow, when people using cards that scored less on the 3d benchmark table can get 60-100. Also, monitoring my Card temp and its running pretty hot (so i think) 43degrees c. Case fans i notice are also running slower then in previous pc but then again that one is dead now lol :)

PC specs:
Windows xp pro sp3
600w Ultra ls psu
Evga 9500gt 1gb ddr2 (VGA)
AMD Athlon x2 processor 6000+(1mb total L2 cache)
Asus M3A78 motherboard
Creative Sound Blaster Audigy (Audio)
Apevia X-Cruiser tower, 2x 8mm LED fans, 1x 8mm cpu fan, VGA fan, 1x 120mm front panel fan, massive fan the size of my friggin hand on psu.

Any suggestions, questions, comments, criticism post, and thanks for reading

Re: Evga 9500gt 1GBddr2 help!

43c is not hot for a video card it's actually on the cool side.
The video card is a DDR2 model a DDR3 would help a lot
3d mark scores do not translate well into real world gaming experience always try to look for in game comps like these> http://www.tomshardware.com/charts/g...v1-05,787.html
A 9500Gt is about equal to a 8600Gt.
A word of caution on the ultra power supply if your going to upgrade the video card you will want to replace it they are not very good in the quality department have a read through the power supply sticky the link is in my signature.

Re: Evga 9500gt 1GBddr2 help!

I was implying that 43 seemed a little hot for the amount of cooling i had going on, now i have it overclocked to max and its running solid at 38 degrees max 43 over long period of gaming, but yeah its kind of disappointing seeing as i just got this psu and VGA, the reviews where good and a lot of people said you could run WoW at 50 fps easy, where now i have 30 casually and 43 indoors. Oh well i guess next time i will rely on tech support for help and not user reviews, thanks Wrench
