Cry [SOLVED] Please help me.. with ati driver wont install
hi guys please help me i have just reinstalled windows xp pro and started to install drivers and my ATI Radeon X1600 series Driver (Catalyst Software Suite) extracted to drive C/: . But then after it had extracted it went on to a loading dar and then it disapered... please hlp me

I just installed the Catalyst Software Suite but after i tryed ot install the driver not the Catalyst Software Suite just the driver and the samething happend .

its a home bult heres the specs

Windows XP Pro SP3
Pentium D
CPU 2.66 GHz 2.98 GHz
1.00 GB of RAM

yes the card did work be for i reinstalled XP

Have you tried the latest bios? Are you sure the extra power cable for the card is in firm?

in the device manager uninstall the video card
reboot tapping f8 and choose vga mode
when windows finishes rebooting
disable a/virus
install your drivers
reboot the computer
