Geforce 9400 GT on PCIe 1.0

I have a Geforce 9400 GT, as you all know 9 series are PCIe 2.0 but I'm running my card on a PCIe 1.0 Slot, so if I changed my mboard to a newer one that contains a PCIe 2.0 will I witness any increase in performance?
I can play all the newest games at med high setting with a res 800 x 600
I have to live with that for the time being :P

Re: Geforce 9400 GT on PCIe 1.0

All PCIe 2.0 does is increase the bandwidth of the pci slot with cards out today none of them will actually use the full band width of the 1.0 spec. I believe your board has a full x16 slot and the 945 chip set isn't that bad so I doubt you would see a large increase from just a motherboard change.
