New Video Card!

Just yesterday I bought a Radeon HD 4850 to replace my Nvidia 8800 GTS and was wondering what you guys think about those two cards in terms of performance. My friend said that the ATI card gives just 3 more FPS then my old Nvidia one! I replaced the 8800 because it was giving me problems in certain games and just couldn't deal with it anymore, tried everything to fix it so I upgraded to the Radeon.

So what do you guys think about the card? My friend told me I could pay an extra $100 and get a 9800 GTX which would shoot the performance out of the water on my Radeon.. :d

It's decent however, but I still don't know if I should have tried to solve the problems with my 8800 because it is still a good card for it's time.

Re: New Video Card!

a 4850 is better than the 9800GTX its closet to the GTX 260 than any other video card

look at these comparison and have a good read

look through this too

sometimes it depends on the games you play and what version of directx your using

don't waste your money on your friends idea to get a 9800GTX
