ATI Card not working?
Hi, I just built my own PC for the first time, I believe I have everything in the right place, but the moniter doesn't respond to my video card.
it's an ATI 4850 512mb, I have it installed correctly in it's PCI-E 16x Slot, and I have the power supply hooked into it correctly with the 6 Prong PCI-E Cable. When I power on my PC this is what happens: It turns on for about 5-10 seconds, turns off, and then restarts again in 5 seconds and stays running. All the fans, LEDs, and everything are running, including the fan on my video card which connects to the video card itself (self powered i'm assuming?) which makes me think my card is being powered fine, but it's simply just not working. I've tried both DVI and Analog cables going from my video card to my moniter and no luck at all, could anybody offer some advice? |

Re: ATI Card not working?
I just attempted to boot the computer without the graphics unit installed, and it boots the same way, so I am assuming it has nothing to do with the graphics card but how I have the computer assembled. I this helps solve my problem :)
