motherboard limitations on videocards
Attempting to replace my video card as its no longer working, am running a GA-81G1000 pro, and was trying to install a 6800 agp vid card, and am having continuous problems with not being able to install new drivers, etc etc etc. After having exhausted all possibilities (for about the last month), I am simply trying to find out if there is a limitation on my motherboard as far as how complex a video card I can attempt to install. Is it possible that the video card is too complex? And where would I look as far as motherboard limitations for video cards? Have exhausted all searches/manuals etc that I can think of.
Where can I find the limitations for how advanced a video card my motherboard is compatible with?? |

Re: motherboard limitations on videocards
should not be any limitations. The motherboard may only be AGP 4x, but still should allow you to run successfully and install drivers.
Are you disabling onboard before you install drivers?
