No audio after installing video card

I just installed an ATI Radeon HD 4650 video card to my computer. The video works fine but now I have no audio. I realize that these ATI cards install HD audio over your old audio drivers, and
I disabled the ones is installed, but now I can't find the original Realtek audio device that I had before.

Any help would be appreciated.

identify your motherboard, and I bet we can get you on the right track

hi pal could you tell me how you managed to disable the drivers that the ati radeon 4650 installed i ahve the same porb, if i can get thiose drivers disabled i think i can get my old audio working fine :)

I just had exactly the same problem and with the help of this forum got it fixed.

Go into the BIOS and force-enable your integrated audio.
