Possiblylookin to upgrade
I cant upgrade my mobo until my warranty is up so thats not an option i wish i had. My CPU and rest of the system is solid so far, once the warranty is up however, the first two things to be upgraded will be mobo and PSU. But for right now i dont have that much money to upgrade to a newer better video card but am lookin to get a good one and maybe stretch my dollars if one is worth it. Im looking for one that has 512 GDDR3 or higher, more than 32 stream processors like mine now and will help me in one way or another future proof my system until i can upgrade more main components as listed above.
I like Nvidia, love em. Dont know if I should go for 9series, or get one of the OC'd 8800's with a ton or RAM on it until I can get something state of the art in about another year or so. Please help me Thank you in advance! |

Re: Possiblylookin to upgrade
It would be a better investment to buy a good card now than to buy a mediocre now then a good one later.
The newer 88's dont have a big drop from the 98's. I have a 9800GTX, but a GTX+ or even an 88 GTX would be not far off for not alot of money.
