ATI Or Nvidea

I'm try to build a new com but i can't make my desicion of getting a ATI Card Or Nvidea. ATI I'm Getting a HD3870 As for Nvidia I'm getting the 8800GTs ultra. the purpose of this com is for 70% gaming and 30% 3d animation rendering nothing else. The Processor is a AMD AMD AM2 Athlon 5200+ X2 Processor 2.7GHz, power supply is 800w, motherboard is a Asus M3A78-EM

check pixel pipelines and core clocks.

Ati, And for a little more (of the gtx 280) you could get a 4870x2 which has double the performance.
