I know of two the 8400GS and a x1550 ATI card both are about the same it's the nature of having a x1 slot more so then the card.

PCIEx16 yes x1 mostly are workstation cards.
What brand and model PC do you have?

The DG31PR has a PCIex16 slot but the 350w psu isn't going to power a larger card.
