Grin Radeon x1650 graphics card problems

I have purchased a x1659pro x1650PCIE512(Radeon) for my computer and the bad thing is that i forgot to look at the required processor speed, well i have a 2.1ghz duel core processor so is there any way that i can manually make my graphics card work or will i need to buy a new processor for it to work?

Re: Radeon x1650 graphics card problems

Have you tried it? The x1650's worked on single core P4 cpu's so I would think it would work.

Where are you seeing a required CPU speed and what does it say it is?

Re: Radeon x1650 graphics card problems

It should work fine with almost any cpu(provided you have the right slot for it and everything). I have an x1600 in a pentium 3 machine, the x1650 isn't much different.

The video card should work, it worked on my core 2 duo @ 1.86ghz just fine.
