Nvidia Geforce 6150 LE + Vista = Bright and Washed Out
This is an interesting problem I've had. I've been using an HP computer with the Nvidia Geforce 6150 LE and Vista Home Premium. At any time, I either have it hooked up vga to an lcd monitor or tv. For some reason, the image starts off very bright and washed out, but when I hit the sleep button and then click the icon to log back in, my display is normal.
Now, I just replaced my harddrive and did a clean install of Vista Ultimate. I get the same problem as before, everything is very bright and washed out. However, putting the computer to sleep no longer corrects the problem. When I log back in everything is still too bright. What could be causing this problem? I can guarantee it's not my monitor, but something in the computer. Last edited by smalltapes; 12-12-2008 at 07:49 PM. |
