ATI Radeon x1650 Pro HDMI 256M into Dell XPS 410

I insert the new card and boot the system, but no video is displayed through HDMI or VGA port. This card has no port for additional power. The system BIOS and Chipset udates are current with Dell's releases. Is there some boot disk I can createfor this? BIOS settings don't appear to have any alternate settings to help out. I've gotten stuck on the first hurdle. I couldn't be more frustrated right now. I've got a good level of understanding of what I'm doing, but not enough knowledge. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Make sure the card is fully seated in the motherboard it should be plug and play to boot I think you had a x300se or a x1300? If you put that back in and it works as long as the 1650 was fully seated than the new card is defective.

I'm trying to pull an nVIDIA GeForce 7300 LE for the HDMI capabilities. I was kind of hoping that was the problem. Thanks for the good news.
