Quick question about video card/mobo compatibility

How do I find out if my motherboard's PCIe slots are 1.0 or 2.0? I want to get a GeForce 9800, but I'm afraid that my mobo won't be able to use it.

PCI-E requires 26 amps at 12 volts. That's a 650W PSU.

I don't know how to find that out, but this is my computer:

EDIT: Bah, I guess my control key is getting a little old. Sorry about that.

Re: Quick question about video card/mobo compatibility

Ok, here is the info from CPU-Z:

Manufacturer: Dell Inc.
Model: OUW457 A03
Chipset: NVIDIA GeForce 6150 Rev. A2
Southbridge: NVIDIA nForce 410/430 MCP

Under graphic interface it just says PCI-Express x16, with no mention of whether it's 1.0 or 2.0.

Also, if it turns out my mobo does not support PCIe 2.0, is there a a decent alternative to the GeForce 9800? (one that would be an upgrade over a Radeon x1650)

Re: Quick question about video card/mobo compatibility

It's going to be a 1.0/1.1 slot but a Nforce board will be compatible with the 9800.
Pcie 2.0 is backwards compatible to 1.0 / 1.1 except on Via and Sis chip sets, you have a Nvidia chipset.
What power supply are going to use?

Re: Quick question about video card/mobo compatibility

Awesome, thank you for the answer.

I am definitely replacing the power supply with a more powerful one, as the stock 300W PSU is already struggling to adequately power my Radeon x1650. I'm not entirely sure which I am going up upgrade to. I actually made a topic on the appropriate board to ask for help with that, but if you have a suggestion I would be glad to hear it here as well.

Re: Quick question about video card/mobo compatibility

For The 9800GT one of these 650w units for a 9800GTX+ I would look more to 700-750w>
