Is it my display card problem?
Here is my computer specs:
OS: Windows XP SP3 CPU: P4 2.4GHZ Display card: ATI Radeon 9700 2 512MB RAM First, when I power on my computer, the screen will constantly shakes till I enter windows. Then, I don't know why when I play Left 4 Dead or Football Manager 2009, my computer will hang most of time (sometimes restart) after few minutes/some time, sometimes it doesn't hang at all. I've installed latest chipset and display card drivers, still having this problem. The funny thing is, my computer doesn't hang at all when I play Fable The Lost Chapter and Ultima Online, I can play hours without problem. I thought it was my RAM problem because I ran memtest 2 weeks ago and found one of my RAM was having errors. I've already replaced it yesterday but still hangs. I just got this display card not long ago because my previous one had problems and I've tried reseating it. I'm going to get a new computer few months later so I didn't get a better one. Any ideas? Thank you. |
