Bad bottlenecking...

I've done everything I know how to do, but it still doesn't want to work. I have an Asus K8N with 3 GB of DDR Ram, an Athlon 3200+ processor, and a Geforce 6 Series 512 MB DDR2 GPU (AGP).

That system should fly, but when I'm running any video file, the video staggers. If I try to do anything else while the video is playing, the video almost locks up.

This is the second video card I've tried. The last was a 256 MB GeForce 5 Series. Same deal.

I'd be really grateful for help figuring this out. All my drivers are up to date, and the BIOS in the MoBo and GPU are both current. What do you need to know to be able to help?

Thanks!
