Video Card Compatable
I have an Asus P4C600-E Motherboard and I need to know what my options are for video card upgrade. I'm currently using a Radeon 850X with 256mb and I'm having trouble finding something that will work with my motherboard that is atleast a 512. Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks! |

Re: Video Card Compatable
That's better Intel 875P AGP 8x graphics slot.
Now for the hard part What kind of a budget do you have for this and what power supply do have brand and model or brand and wattage? |

Re: Video Card Compatable
I would like to upgrade to a 512mb card without having to sign over my first unborn child. And as for the Power supply I have the spec sheet in front of me and it just says Misc under brand name but it is a 400watt power supply.

Re: Video Card Compatable
The 400w is low by todays standards but a ATI 3650 Pro or a X1650 PRO would work with it > http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814102781

Re: Video Card Compatable
I purchased the computer in January of 2004, So yeah it's getting a little old. I know this is the video card forum but if I were to upgrade my power supply as well do you have a recommendation ? Once again something that isn't to expensive but will give me better performance.
Thanks! |
